Mucci are proud to offer our tried and tested 90mm triple-vented agar dishes, made with high-quality, organically and sustainably sourced ingredients.

We supply high-quality agar plates in the UK for mycology research, prepared in sterile lab conditions for consistent and reliable results.

Our plates are excellent for studying gourmet mycelium growth. All products are created in our lab using professional flowhood technology and temperature-controlled environments, ensuring some of the most sterile agar available while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Petri dishes are vacuum sealed, meaning they can be stored at room temperature in a dark place for up to 3 months, provided the packaging remains sealed.

Once opened, seal remaining plates and store in a cool environment. A medical fridge is recommended, but a standard fridge is sufficient (2–8°C).

Important Notes

Some condensation may occasionally occur due to temperature changes during transit. This is rare due to our vacuum packaging and fast delivery.

To resolve this, store plates upside-down (agar side up) for 12 hours before use.
